Bribery...it works

I don't care what the child psychologists say. Alina was having about a 50% success rate with potty training until we started dangling this big, talking Dora doll in front of her nose. We kept it in the closet for a week and would get it down long enough for her to touch it and drool over it a bit. We told her if she stayed dry for 5 days in a row she could have it for keeps. She earned the doll in no time and now we are foot loose and fancy free in cotton panties!

More NiNi quotes:
I walked in to check on the girls early before work one morning and was suprised to see NiNi wide awake. I whispered, "What are you doing up?" She replied very matter-of-factly, "Mom, I'm soakin wet"

She has a T-Shirt with a monkey on it that says, "I drive my mom bananas" Now she thinks it's hilarious to say, "I drive my mom TO THE bananas"

The girls are really into Rice Crispies right now "Do you want to hear my poppy cereal?"

NiNi was sick and sneezing all over the place. I was trying to show her how we contain germs by sneezing into our elbow. She said, "I don't want to say ha chew on my arm. I want to sneeze in your face."

(Handing me her dirty Kleenex) "Take care of this mommy...it's not heavy"

"Mom, do you love your panties? I love my panties. They are my favorite. They make me happy"

Oooh... good idea. Anara only has to bowel train and I can't get her to tell me before it's too late. Yesterday it was too late 5 times - ahhhh!
