We are just hours from meeting Ethan! Will try to post pictures later this evening. Arrived in Zhengzhou yesterday. It's warmer here. You can tell from some of the pictures how cold it was in Beijing. Really bitter cold and the olympic stadium was the last stop (I had totally lost interest in the sights by then, dreaming about a hot bath!) The air here is so polluted. Makes me want to go home and go greener. Really just a thick fog in the air much of the time and makes you feel like you're sucking on the end of an exhaust pipe. I wondered why all the people wear medical masks outside...I thought they were just really germophobic. Now I get it. We got some more info about Ethan. What he eats, sleeping habits, etc. Two of his little friends are being adopted by folks in our same travel group so it will be nice to keep up the connection. We probably will not be continuing his diet of sugar water bottles....hmmmmmm. Not trying to be critical, but really? Sugar water for an underweight baby? Talked to the girls this morning and got a little choked up. REALLY missing them and the trip is not even half way through:( Here are some pictures from the wall and bird's nest and water cube at olympic stadium. They are sitting as monuments really since the local government has yet to find a use for them now that the olympics are over.
